Role Summary:
As a Delivery System Administrator within the Global Operations team, you will be responsible for
managing the configuration, usage, and optimization of our core delivery systems including JIRA,
Kantata, and Git. You will ensure alignment with our standard operating procedures, implement
improvements defined by Global Ops and delivery leadership, and enable system usability and data
integrity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
● Administer and maintain core delivery platforms, including configuration, permissioning,
and integration support.
● Monitor system usage to ensure adherence to delivery SOPs and flag anomalies or
inefficiencies.
● Execute system updates and implement workflow improvements aligned to directives from
Global Ops and delivery leadership.
● Collaborate with Product Delivery Managers, Project Managers, and Finance to ensure
systems are meeting cross-functional requirements.
● Support new process rollouts and lead change management within delivery tooling.
● Provide tier-2 troubleshooting and user support in collaboration with IT or Engineering
teams.
● Conduct usage audits, generate reports, and make recommendations to improve system
hygiene and scalability.
● Assist in the configuration of new fields, dashboards, workflows, and automations,
particularly in JIRA and Kantata.
Required Skills and Experience:
● 2–3 years of experience administering enterprise tools such as JIRA (required), Git (preferred), and/or Kantata (strongly preferred).
● Proven ability to execute system configuration changes, support multi-team
environments, and implement SOP-aligned standards.
● Experience with HRIS, CRM, or other operations platforms (e.g., Hubspot, HiBob, Netsuite)
is a plus.
● Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to work independently with cross-
functional stakeholders.
● JIRA Administrator certification preferred but not required.
● Excellent written and verbal communication.
Business Justification
As Haptiq continues to scale delivery operations across geographies and verticals, the complexity
and volume of activities across our systems, JIRA, Kantata, and Git have expanded significantly.
Currently, there is no dedicated resource responsible for ensuring that these tools are used
consistently, aligned to SOPs, and optimized for performance and usability.
This hire introduces a critical new capability: centralized system administration with a delivery-
focused lens. It ensures that platform governance, standardization, and cross-team usability are
proactively managed rather than reactively addressed. By embedding this function in Global
Operations, we guarantee cross-practice alignment while supporting delivery leads in maintaining
healthy, scalable tooling environments.
This role is directly tied to value creation via:
● Improved data quality and reporting
● Reduced time loss from manual errors or tool inconsistencies
● Increased speed in implementing SOP changes at scale
● Better compliance with delivery operating models
As portfolio engagement and team size grow, this role becomes essential to maintaining high-
margin, scalable service delivery.
