Job Summary:

The Technical Projects Manager - will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, supporting strategic client and key partnership integrations. This role requires a strong blend of technical knowledge and project management skills to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Management:
   • Develop comprehensive project plans that align with business goals.
   • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
   • Identify and manage project timelines, dependencies, and risks.
2. Execution and Implementation:
   • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
   • Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
   • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
3. Stakeholder Management:
   • Engage with stakeholders to gather and define requirements.
   • Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.
   • Work in collaboration with CS, Product, and R&D. 
   • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
4. Risk Management:
   • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
   • Create contingency plans for potential project risks.
5. Technical Oversight:
   • Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
   • Ensure technical feasibility and resource availability for projects.
   • Collaborate with Product and R&D to ensure the successful integration of new technologies.
6. Quality Assurance:
   • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
   • Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
7. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
   • Report and escalate to management as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or Management.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on technical implementation projects.
• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.
• Domain experience: Advantage - background in InsurTech, HRTech, Digital Health, SaaS platforms.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management software.
• Excellent technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Work Environment:

• Hybrid work environment. (2 days from the office)
• Flexible working hours may be necessary to meet project deadlines.
• Collaboration and management of offshore resources to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.

For New York City-based hires only: Compensation Range: $130L base salary, subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. In addition to base salary, the role includes opportunity to receive equity based on Company’s plans and in accordance with Company’s policies. Compensation finally awarded to the candidate will be commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience. Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of New York City may differ based on the cost of labor and such additional factors for such other locations.
